Why We Started Over
The original Papka worked. But "working" isn't the same as "working well." As we watched how people actually used the platform, patterns emerged. Features that seemed essential went unused. Workflows that seemed intuitive caused confusion. The gap between what we built and what people needed became impossible to ignore.
Rather than patch problems one at a time, we made a different choice: start fresh with everything we'd learned.

What We Kept
Not everything changed. The core philosophy remains: one place for everything that matters, designed to reduce complexity rather than add to it. We're still committed to respecting your data, avoiding dark patterns, and building tools that serve you rather than exploit your attention.
The integrations you relied on still work. Your existing data migrated automatically. The learning curve for existing users should be gentle—familiar concepts in a better package.
What We Removed
Sometimes improvement means subtraction. We eliminated features that analytics showed were rarely used but added interface clutter. We simplified options that provided flexibility nobody needed at the cost of decisions everybody had to make.
The result is a platform that does fewer things but does them better. Every feature that remains has earned its place by proving genuinely useful to real users.
